Terminally ill Cancer Patient Puts False Rape Charges

In a strange case, a Terminally Ill Cancer Patient filed a case against a prominent Indian Cancer Treatment hospital that she was raped while her treatment was on. She claimed that she was raped in the month of November' 2006 by some medical staff. But, tests done on her put the truth on the table. It was declared that she was 27 weeks pregnant just 2 days back. This meant she could not have been raped in November' 2006. And, that the Rape charges were false. She later apologized for her false charges against the Hospital and said that she was already pregnant when she came in for cancer treatment in that Hospital. Her boy friend had made her pregnant. And, she is just 16 years old. The Hospital has now stopped the treatment on her. And a statement released by the Hospital, said that she will not be treated in the Hospital....... which normally treats Cancer Patients free of cost and which is one of the most prominent Treatment centers for Cancer in India. What do you have to say about this ? We all know the girl was wrong in pushing false rape charges. And she now says that she was "Mentally Disturbed".

If find the whole thing very disturbing, but I do not understand why the hospital does not treat her, they cannot leave her to die? That is barbaric to say the least, unless of course there is another hospital she can go to for treatment.

No sweetie. Other hospitals are just too expensive for her. She comes from a very low income household. And, that too.... a Muslim household...... you know.... Muslims do not like to spend a lot on their girl child...... I know this is a very stupid way of saying it........ but this is the truth.

Man I feel sorry for the hospital and its workers for what the girl did. How could the girl not be mentally distubed to be facing cancer at the age of 16. To be unmarried, 16, and now cancer was probably to much for the girl to handle. I am not trying to excuse what she did but she appears to be under a great amount of stress. Is there another hospital in the area who can treat her? What will happen to her now?

The Hospital that she had pushed the Rape charges against is a "Charitable Memorial Hospital"...... they charge your a very nominal charge for treatment and they treat Cancer Patients Only. Though there are other hospitals too....... but, their charges are mind blowing. the girl cannot afford that. The girl comes from a very low income household.... a Muslim household. The family cannot afford those private hospitals. One way she can get some help is by approaching the "Cancer Patients Association Of India (CCPA). They might help her getting treatment at low charge and might help her in garnishing some donations........ :( I know the girl is under so much of stress. But, imagine the stress the Medical staff of that hospital could have been through. I wish she gets a nice treatment center soon and hope she gets fine.
