I love reading diary writing books too (of course I won't sneak into other people's diaries). I wrote some diaries myself when I was younger but usually I wrote when I was unhappy and my writings were pretty sad. When I read those later on, I found myself not very happy too. So I just quitted writing personal diaries. I now have blog (sort of diary) where I write about beauty/ skincare.

yes i do have a habit of diary writing.. it gives me a feeling of utter satisfaction.. though these days i dont do it every day but yes i do note down all the important events in my life and especially when i am sad or have some problem i trust my diary than anyone else.... by the time i end up writing the whole thing, half the pressure is gone. my diary is my best friend.. !!

No I don't write diaries, I don't have much in my life to write about and being totally honest when writing my views about everything and everyone may get me in trouble if someone reads it :) People are writing it for history if they are celebrities or known people but for me my history concerns no one.

i've been writing in journals since i was a teenager. sometimes you want to get your feelings out, but you don't want to talk about it with anyone else. writing in a journal is a very constructive way to do this.
