Donated that part of the meat to your plate? I know it does sounds starnge, but did you ever eat hamburger, or other kind of meat, and when you looked at your plate, you suddenely see the animal? chicken, pork, or cow? I did. Whenever i ate meat when i was younger, i always saw a cow sitting on my plate, a pork, or other zoo animals. LOl. What about you did it ever happen to you?

Hello Liranlgo, Nice to visit with you again. Wow, I can relate. I spent some time on a farm when I was a kid. One of the farmers pigs had piglets. The farmer gave one of the piglets to me ... he knew I was a big fan of the children's book "Charlotte's Web". Anyway, when I found out where bacon came from, I boycotted pork for many, many years! As I got older, I avoided meat, altogether. In the end, I got very sick. Turns out, I have a medical condition that requires that I consume predominently protein in my diet. So, I do my best to not see the animal's face when I eat meat.

Hi Liranlgo, It's really not a big a deal. It was tough adjusting, but it's been years. Ya' do what's necessary, and if that includes making sure I don't see a little cow or chicken on my plate, well then that's what I do.

Wow, this is a tough situation. Isn't there anything else that you can eat that will add protein to your body?

OMG... we went to a Buffalo Farm one time for a special event they were having with the Native American Indians. We grabbed a "buffalo burger" and fries and went to the car to eat. My daughter looks out from her window, gets this sick look on her face and goes "I can't do this... they're looking at me mom and I'm eating them!" LOL Needless to say we all looked over and were sort of grossed out. We tossed the burgers and went to McD's... hoping there were no cows nearby to make us feel horrible! LOL Yet I still love my meats!

There was a series of programmes about the meat you eat on tv in the Uk some time ago, my housemate who cooks the food watched it, I refused to watch it, I love my meat and refuse to be put off it. Anyway after those programmes he was forever going on at me to go vegetarian and that whenever he served up meat would constantly remind me of the animal I was eating. I told him that if he stopped cooking meat I would move out! He's never mentioned it again!

I don't eat meat for the same reason. I can save animals and be healthy, because vegetarian diet is much healthier. I don't understand major misconception about vegetarian diet and protein. I can not understand people who say that they need animal protein. Being vegetarian does not mean your diet will be lacking in protein. Most plant foods contain protein and in fact it would be very difficult to design a vegetarian diet that is short on protein. Excess dietary protein may lead to health problems. It it now thought that one of the benefits of a vegetarian diet is that it contains adequate but not excessive protein. Once you see animals on your plate...it is about time to switch your diet.

The only times I have these strange visions is if someone serves up sheeps brains, liver and undesirable body parts of animals that pass as food. Eeeeyuk!

I have aproblem eating meat that still has bones in them, that makes me feel disgusted and i think that it is because i then can imagine the animal.. Chicken legs and stuff wich i like, are hard for me to eat, just because of the bones in them,

what kind of meat are you eating that makes you see ZOO animals?!! lol but yeah, if i get a steak that is a bit on the bloody side i say that its "still mooing" and ive helped pluck and clean the chicken that was cooked for dinner, even turkeys. the pigs always used to go to the butcher to be cut up, too big for us to handle at home.

Well yes one time I had a pet rabbit and I went to my parents friends house and they had rabbit meat there. I looked at it then my sister told me that was our rabbits, I cried and I didn't eat it and I never ate a rabbit meat and never will. I watched a show last night King of queens he was helping a chicken and the he wouldnt eat any kind of meat because his neighbor showed him how it was done,

When I see meat, I see it as a lump of fat swimming in my blood vessels. I picture them clogging my arteries and blocking my blood circulation. I haven't been eating meat for the past nine months now not because I am fighting for animal rights. I choose to be a vegetable consumer than a meat eater. I'm close to being a vegetarian but I am not, actually.

Nop. I know Yael (my fiance) does. She can't even touch meat. Touch? Heck, she can't even smell it... she always says this thing had a mother - how can you eat it? Well, we humans got to the head of the food chain not by eating grass... I say, eat'em... ;) Now seriously... I don't get sentimental while eating meat - I just eat it.

Hahaha... I never have such imagination actually. I know sometimes human do terible things to animals, but I'm not phobia with that. Sometimes other people also can't eat meat when they see something terible in television, but I'm not disturbed by it also... I don't know what happen to me then -lol-
