The age of drinking alcohol here is being increased to 21 from 18, or at the very least be limited to 3 units of alcohol per night. This could be done by use of a smart card. Binge drinking has become such an over whelming problem that policy makers are wanting to practice tough love, to put the alcohol out of the reach of youth.

Well I think it is a good Idea as I think that the young ones do drink far to much today and also are not responsible enough when they do
I mean my Kids are ok but there are a lot that are not. I don't drink, but there is a lot of Reasons for that and I do not mind People drinking but when it gets to the stage that they get abusive and pick a fight then it is not good and from what I hear that is what most youngsters do now.
The only thing I do not understand is they have the Pubs going now 24 hours and now they are doing this
One minute they are inviting People to drink and the next they are looking for ways to stop them till a certain age
I just don't understand the System on all this

That's great that they increased the age to 21. Drinking is bad for your health and the consequences are high when they catch as DWI. My husband had to pay $1,000 per year for three years, plus the fines he had to pay when in jail and the towing fees because they took away his car.
