Have you seen "The Cutting Edge"?

I love this movie. It was shown last 1992, yup, somewhat an old one but definitely worth your time.
I suddenly felt the urge to bring the movie up because of this new movie "The Blades of Glory" which stars Will Ferrell and John Heder. I admit I'm not really a fan of these guys but I watched the trailer and it seems good to me (when it's funny, it's good, hehehe!)
But I can't stop myself from comparing it with "The Cutting Edge" which stars D.B. Sweeney and Moira Kelly. I love this pair! They're so effective with their roles, they look adorable with each other!
I was thinking if "The Blades.." will be as outstanding as "The Cutting.. " I mean, the latter have got so many skating tricks that would make you jump from your seat and skip a heartbeat! Amazing! I love this movie. Do you? Do you think "The Blades.. " will be as good?

I had first seen this movie when i was 12 years old, the only thing that got me to it was the awesome skating skills they showed. Later when i was in college, i saw this again on tv. What can i say? I like it very much. The pair got chemistry and it was a touching love story. It's a very good movie, especially for those who are hopeless romantic.
This is the kind of movie that i won't get tired watching. Aside from the great skating scenes, it has a nice soundtrack too.

i used to love that movie, watched it all the time when i was a kid. don't know ho much i'd like it now. i think "blades" is different as it's going for more of a slapstick feel, whereas cutting edge was a bit more serious.

oh I'm pretty sure you'll still like the movie, it hasn't changed, it's still wonderful, hehehe! Well, that's what I think about "Blades" too, nothing serious, all fun.. oh well...

I have seen this movie when I was younger. My cousin made me watch this actually because he knows that I'm into movies like this. It was really nice and I like Moira Kelly's character in the movie. She's so funny and such a snob.
