I think that the reason why discussions about relationships get the most responses is because most people can relate to them and are able to provide an answer. Other topics are too specialist for most people and only will be able to have a small response.

u can be right possibly but not accurately. the reason for these kind of discussions getting attraction is due to the age group of people particiapting in mylot.secondly the topic is itself so impulsive that i have noticed people of age 16 starts such discussions.and may be evrybody is in a relation or has experienced a relation so that its almost kind of relating to the same..

Yeah, I guess discussions that enables replies based on experience or opinions are more likely to garner more responses because those responses can be thought off straight away from the mind. On the other hand, discussions that require factual answers are not so likely to have responses because many mylot users won't be knowledgeable on the topic that you might ask questions on. "Relationships" gets lots of responses because everyone values relationships and everyone has at least a few relationships in their lives to be able to share on mylot.
