How to improve my laptop performance?

My laptop battery seems to be going down, but its really new just 3 months old. Any tips to improve the battery life of my laptop.

robertc1 rbrtcstll2330, Thankyou this make sense, and will try to do, my battery life as deminished so much its not fun anymore. I have those battery that would last at least 2 hrs, not anymore.. Thanks again
