Did anyone else feel that the Eragon movie was absolutely terrible?

I think that Fox totally ruined the book when they made the Eragon movie. They didn't get anything in the plot right and destroyed the unique idea that is behind the novel. I just don't think that it's right when movies are made...

Catkin I agree, and I didn't even *see* the movie. What I have heard was enough. Besides the major changes, there were so many little ones, too, that made a difference (a negative one). The choice of actors for the characters was far from accurate, as well......
