How ideas come to you?

I recently started 2 write stories. Not necessary books, but it's a hobby. I start, but never finish and i still have ideas running through my head but can't put them together. How are ideas coming to you guys?

smilymary I love games, and it gives me ideas for adventure problems in my stories. Cool names come out too lol. And don't worry i understood what you tried to say. :)

smilymary Lol, yes there are many things i didn't say, i just gave you a general idea of Europe and the countries i have seen. The Vatican, the Leaning tower of Pisa, and Spain. Europe is full of history and fun places to go. So, make a list of things you want to see...

smilymary You don't have to be a good writer to write your ideas down on a piece of paper (or computer). All you have to have is imagination and this way a big vocabulary, that's all.

smilymary Same here, i have a notebook that is filled with ideas, but dont have anything in common. The longest story i could write was about 20 pages long. I keep reading other books, and watching movies, tv shows, and more only to have more and more ideas, and still...
