why do some people like certain instruments but not others cause all instruments make music and not many people like to play the non melody instruments. So can you help me figure out why this is?

do we all see the same colors or are we taught the name of each color but see them differently? Maybe what I see as red another may see it as the color I call purple. so what do you guys think? Do you think that its true or what?
