How do you deal with a co worker, who once had a secert affair with you?

One example would be a stranger you met in a bar, had a one night stand/affair with you, and the next office day, you bumped him/her on the lobby at your office, signing a job offer!!! What would you do? What other situations...

does the relationship still work out when one party is in love with another?

they say that one of the most effective way to get over someone is to look for another one. but does the relationship with that another works out? what exactly is the success rate in those relationships?
