Loving someone who is a functioning alcoholic. I say functioning because he has a job. So many times I have heard this, "I'll quit tomorrow". But tomorrow never comes and he's drunker than ever. I'm trying to understand this...

sweetskywoman Thank you Trishzen for that, but I'm very afraid that he will do something crazy and I won't hear from him again. He's talked a lot lately about getting help. I'm wondering if I should keep pushing towards that or let him be. Any other commets would be...

sweetskywoman Thank you for that. I am so afraid something like that will happen to my friend. He's an ex but I still love and care for him deeply and I get so worried about his health. He drinks like that also. It's with him everywhere he goes. And that's not his only...

sweetskywoman Thank you for your response. I'm afraid to say it but that is the reason I didn't marry him. I kept telling myself that he would quit, but he seemed to far gone when I met him. If you can understand what I mean by that.
