Can you tell me why you do or don't believe in god?

monsooner @monsooner (467) • India 22 Jan 07

I have been trying to figure this one out. If believing in God is your answer tell me who made him. God may answer the question of how we got here but it does not answer how anything exist at all. Even god had to start somewhere...

Ciniful I'm an atheist, I don't believe in God ... or Gods for that matter. I used to. I grew up in a roman catholic family. Our community was very church oriented, and our family even more so. I was part of the youth group, church choir, volunteered to help at...

monsooner Dandruff (also called scurf and historicaly termed Pityriasis capitis) is due to the excessive shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp. As it is normal for skin cells to die and flake off, a small amount of flaking is normal and in fact quite common. Some...

monsooner No? Here's more. There have been many strategies for the control of dandruff. Simply increasing shampooing will remove flakes. However, elimination of the fungus results in dramatic improvement. Regular shampooing with an anti-fungal product will not only...

Marriage is irrelevant and thus should be eradicated. What do you say? And why?

trihknittee @trihknittee (124) • India 21 Jan 07

I think its well and good if the two persons involved know that they're partners for life and no such 'making it legal" thing is required. What do you think?

Willowlady Making it legal gives you rights with the kids, property and such. Tax benefits too. Was designed by God for two people to be joined together. For us it has been a great benefit. A partnership that takes the two of us to make it as far as we can go!

ESKARENA1 i supose it depends upon the particular circumstances, for us marriage has been great, without it we would have split up years ago. Marriage provides the secure framework within which children can be propogated

Should parents continue to finance their children after the children are 18?

trihknittee @trihknittee (124) • India 21 Jan 07

Do you think that children are different today from the time when you were child? Or from 50 years ago? 100 years ago? What is the most important thing that we need to teach children?

1 response •

Darkwing I think it's important that children of that age learn self-support and money management, so no, I don't think you should support them after that age. I suppose it's a little different if they're a University Student, but even then, they can arrange their...
