What is IP address?

hi just wanted to know what exactly is an IP address-If there are two computers in a house,both using different internet connection,will the IP address b the same?

alcazar IP Address mean Internet Protocol...its like a house number for you computer....The internet service providers use it for mainataining the accounts of different people...

ZephyrSun I love donkey. I think it has something to do with my dad coming over while my son was watching Shrek and saying what's his name and of course my son said donkey and my dad said well I know its a donkey but what's his name. I love how he doesn't stop...
