have you heard what Our President has said to the Muslims all over the world. In my mind this is so long overdue and if he means it I will truly bless him. I pray for peace

vjayrao06 Thank you, savypat, for selecting my contribution as the best. But I am surprised to see that there are no more comments after I furnished the required information. Or did I miss them? It is a burning issue and I expected a lot of discussion.I shall be highly...

Obama Snubs Nation's Heroes?

whiteheather39 @whiteheather39 (24403) • United States 25 Jan 09

This really surprises me! Why would he do such as thing. IMO the Military Ball was a much more important function to attend than the other star studded events he found time for. I do not think this is the way to honor the...

vjayrao06 murderistic, thank you. Reading the opening report by whiteheather and some comments thereon, I thought Obama indeed committed a blunder. But your reply was enough to put a stop to this misguided discussion. The president did enough. There is no point...

vjayrao06 It is obvious Obama meant what you, dear thegreatdebater, said: ignore him. That is what 'don't listen to him' means! People like Rush are to be treated like that only.

vjayrao06 I AM A BIT INTRUIGUED to read this discuussion. USA is inhabited by people who came from different parts of Europe and other continents too.And that too is not very long time back, just a few centuries. Is it rational to criticise obama on the ground that he...

vjayrao06 Sorry, I don't agree with you. Age certainly is a major factor. The difference of age between a man and wife has been a bone of contention all along. In countries where child marriages were in vogue, this was a major problem.Young girls were married away to...
