fpd1955 LaRussa is a very good manager. He has a proven record throughout his career. His team has suffered some major ijuries and heartbreak this year. I know it's "what have you done lately", but they had the worst record for a World Champ last year and they still...

bgerig I agree. thank you for contributing to the discussion. It seems the World Series Champs usually have a poor season after winning the championship....sort of like the Sports Illustrated curse!

reppie2roo We can't let him go. He has been there too long, a world championship 2 penants, how many division titles. Yeah this year is disappointing, but things could turn around, although not likely. If you let someone like Larussa go, who is safe.

volcanoman @volcanoman (145) • United States 29 Jun 07

Here is the debate in my house now, should we get an expensive dog or a nice middle aged horse? My oldest daughter (age: 4) is a fanatic about horses, I am quite fond of and enjoy them, my youngest daughter is quite fond of them...

Oeillade How much do you know about horses? Do you realise how much work they are, how much they cost to keep and how much time it takes to care for them? You have to make sure you have somebody to look after them if you are away from home, you can't just put them in...

h_gaurd9 I use Firefox because it's way better than Internet Explore. IE just isn't safe to use these days anymore. No pop-up blockers, bad security, and adware upon adware. I can't even tell you the countless times I've had problems with Adware, all thanks to IE. It's...

Ciniful I prefer 6, for the time being. I tried 7, and was completely unimpressed. Although I got used to the tabs, I couldn't put up with the slow loading time, or just the slow reaction time in general. IE7 might be an excellent upgrade IF you have a brand new, top...
