effects of pollution upon residents alongside m25

a mega highway of comparable size to the M25 is about to be built in the residential area where I live. We residents are concerned about the potential change in air quality and noise pollution that we may suffer. It therefore occurred to us to seek any available knowledge that has been gleaned from the experience of the existing m25 residents. Can you help and/or advise us where to contact those who may have the information we seek.

Well, I suspect after four years the matter has already been resolved one way or the other. I hope that you got the answers that you were looking for back when this was relevant. Perhaps you can now share your experience with others if the mega highway was built or maybe you could help assist others in fighting similar constructions in their area if you were able to prevent the highway from being built.
