My son Stutters

zambian @zambian (31) • India 3 Dec 06

My eight year old son is showing the first signs of stuttering. Is there any remedy out there that works that could stop it before it progresses any further? My husband stutters and so unless it is genetic, I would like to stop it...

SoulEraser one thing you can do is to enrol him in enrichment programmes such as those that will boost his confidence. usually stuttering occurs when you think ahead of what you intend to speak.
