zingaresca Make sure you go to Camden Town and visit their markets. Always cool stuff to buy. But be prepared for the way most of the people over their dress - gothic style. Way cool shops there too. As for tourist stuff - the Tower of London is great!

Have you considered writing for Helium?

vegangoddess @vegangoddess (175) • United States 30 May 07

Helium pays you a residual income for articles. You get paid for every article you write forever. It is completley free and a nice way to build up some passive income. You can read more about them on my blog here-...

zingaresca how is helium any better than Associated Content? Do you only get residuals from Helium?

zingaresca I don't know about journals, but associated content pays for poetry and fiction. They don't pay a lot, but its something and it gets you published so you have something to show other places. I have 4 short articles up now and got about $25 for them. You...

How do you come up with great article ideas?

gleznov @gleznov (391) • United States 20 Mar 07

Any of you prolific article writers out there, where do you get your ideas? Are there any particular topics you tend to focus on, or do you pull from everything in your daily life?

zingaresca I tend to write about current events or what is hot at the moment. I also use things from my day-to-day life. I've been writing a lot on travel as I travel a lot.
