I have not watched TV for a very long time. What about you? Has it changed your life?

Jesuslovesme @MsBooklover (3974) • United States 19 Apr 17

With cable being so expensive, I got rid of it. I don’t even have basic channels. I have three channels through this device I put on the window. Most of the time it does not bring in channels and hasn’t in a very long time. I...

Jesuslovesme Zoega59, I see your point. There is some good info on TV, but some isn't worth your time. Even though I got rid of cable and do other things, I still don't have enough time to do everything that is important.

Some people prefer to live with less technology in their lives. Can you understand the desire to live a simpler life?

Dianne Gray @ncwdianne (87) 17 Apr 17

I sometimes wonder how much more productive my life would be without screen time. Internet, computers, smartphones and Netflix included in screen time. Life is definately easier with technology. But does it make us happy?

Margarita Technology can help us in many ways through our lifes if we use it well. The matter is that many persons don't know how to use it wisely and lose a lot of time with it. Definitly, I could imagine living without technology and would be happier. During my...

Zoega59 @zoega_59 (59) • Haninge, Sweden 11 Apr 17

The warmer weather came in February to Stockholm (Sweden), and winter was finally over in the middle of March. It´s still quite chilly outside, but it´s nice to se the sun. How is the weather where you live?

Outdoor weekend

Ed K @pigeboy (170) 15 Apr 17

I'm happy to have joined mylot recently and very excited for more posts and conversations, but I don't think I'll be on much this weekend. The weather outside is really nice, so I'll be spending a lot of time out there instead of...

flavored coffee? I bought a sort that taste cardamom and chocolate. Yes, it is really good to drink, especially after lunch. But I still want unflavored coffee in the morning.

dragon54u I don't care for flavored coffee but I know many people love it. I like just good, strong, black coffee. I love the flavor of coffee and once I find one I like I will be loyal to it until they quit making it. I really dislike the major brands like Folger's,...

Feel like a cup of hot tea

Always smiling @allknowing (153156) • India 12 Apr 17

This is no time really for tea but this craving needs to be tackled and I shall tackle it by not giving in. Having tea late in the evening means I would be losing my sleep. I would not trade my sleep for anything in the world...

Are you afraid?

Zoega59 @zoega_59 (59) • Haninge, Sweden 11 Apr 17

Attacks and other horrors in our society are sadly commonplace today. Are you more vigitant when you are visiting places where there are lots of people? Last Friday it was a terror attack in central Stockholm (Sweden). Luckily I...
