I attempted to go to Bubblews to read some posts and possibly post something myself, and I got the message that their advertising venue was no longer viable and they have closed up. I find this appalling that they did this with no...

After almost three years Bubblews has shut down. I've just been over there and there is a notice to that effect there, I loved Bubblews, it was my very first writing site, and I was active there until the end. I made a lot of...

suziecat7 I will miss it too. There was no notice when I tried to go there. It came as a surprise to me. A little more warning would have been nice.

Jabo @zzzgeok I don't suppose we'll ever know the truth of it, but they must have had to invest quite a bit themselves.

Jabo @Elizaby Sites do cost money to maintain, and if there's not enough money from advertising to cover it, down the hole they go. I'm sorry to see it go though.

Jabo @suziecat7 it would have been nice to get a proper period of notice, but it wasn't really a surprise to me. Every time I visited I expected it to be gone.

Morning Girl It was so obvious it was going to happen very soon and it did. That is the price of not being honest with the members. The moment you cheat them, they will leave and without them you will little by little die.

It just occurred to me - do you use youtube more for music or for DIY - help for projects or 'how to'? I've used it occasionally for how to but mostly... I jam out to music and discover new things. The only thing I really dislike...

Morning Girl I earned some good money at Bubblews but I also lost a lot because they just won't pay you if they they don't want. That could be the reason why this site is dying. Although I love that site because of its simplicity, what I really hate is you are not sure...

Always smiling I have had several redemptions there from the time I joined - Feb 14 to Aug 15 almost every week but the last one is still lying there. Also they have not paid my earlier two redemptions.

Christine aka stine1 Well, a lot of members write online that they did not receive their money. I myself did never receive my two cashouts when I started over there after Mylot stopped paying. So I will never visit them again, I have no idea what your chances are but be careful!

Lee Ka @ARIES1973 It's a bit sad to hear the uncertainty, especially when someone is doing good and following to rules.

Sharon I am still on Bubblews but over the last couple of weeks, traffic has been extremely slow. I have quite a few friends there that I don't want to leave.
