I do not know if it is the weather or his health or just what, but Bob slept until around 11:30 this morning, then went back to bed before 2:00 pm.
I insisted he eat a snack type breakfast, and then some tea and soup for...

We have had a tiny drizzle of rain this morning, but the cats have gone outside anyway. That is okay.
It is the first Sunday of the month. Our town has taken over hosting the monthly "bike run" in the area, the first Sunday of...

I want to go to bed but the cats are out.I guess I have to wait.
Bob and I went to Newton for a little shopping today. I wanted to get two more cushions for our lawn chairs. Sure enough, I got the last two Walmart had.
I got a...

My mower does not have quite enough battery life to mow the entire front yard, but I sure gave it a good try.
That is what I did after supper, mow. It was still 82 degrees at that time. Now it is down to 77.
The cats are in....

I find it encouraging to have found someone who wants to work. I talked with Daniel after he mowed yesterday about some other things that need to be done here.
Today he cleared lots of baby trees that were in the wrong places. He...

It was sooner than I wanted, but all the rain made it necessary.
While he was here I gave him some old lawn furniture to fix up. . . wrought iron chairs and table base that are more than fifty years old. I also gave him some...

I came on here, and responded to two or three people. Then all of a sudden I could not like a post or respond, to a longtime friend. I tried another friend, same.
I was beginning to think I was blocked, because I could respond...

It keeps raining just enough to annoy. On the plus side it is also enough to support the plants I transplant into containers.
Today we only had rain for a little while. I would definitely like to buy more flowers soon. I have...

All the rain has made things grow a lot. I contacted my person who mows. I can mow some, but he does it faster.
He set a date, said he was going to the junkyard tomorrow, so it would have to be Wednesday.
I offered him some more...

Braums is a regional dairy and fast food store. Its founder grew up in Kansas. Before having Braums stores, they were Peter Pan Ice Cream stores.
I am not sure how many states they are in. I know Oklahoma and Kansas for sure....

Just a couple of good things.
I am now officially on the "payroll" to care for my husband. Just as I did for my sister. I had to learn all the ins and outs of the time keeping app that they prefer. I did that earlier this week,...

Last night around 9 p.m. or just before, thunder and lightning exploded my discussion. I am not sure I can reconstruct the whole thing.
The man who is doing my plumbing does that as a side gig. He works seven days a week between...

Judging by the sky we will have the off and on rain again today.
However someone, some group, must think it will be mostly pleasant. I have seen bicyclists in reflective gear and helmets going east on my street since around 6...

Bob will get his second injection to build his blood up today. We have to go to Newton (about a half hour drive) to do that.
Our primary care wants to see him tomorrow.
I have been playing phone tag with the kidney doctor for...

I thought people stayed longer last year, but this year the last campers and motorcycles, and families and pets had all pulled out by noon.
I am sure many had to work tomorrow.
All that is left behind are various porta potties,...

While my daughter was here, she slept on a fold out bed. When she was not in it, Bruno was.
I folded it up, and put a cover on it. Bruno would just come stand beside the folded bed and look at it.
I finally got his own personal...

Now that the races are all over, many of the campers are leaving. There are still a few people here. Lots of porta potties. Garbage dupster is not yet overflowing.
Mostly they clean up well after themselves.
I will feel less...
