For my daughter's birthday this past week, we went to Epcot, one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Out of the four theme parks at Disney World, this is probably the one with the least amount of...

Sorry I've been gone so long. My laptop is acting up so I'm using my phone. My PCP ordered some labs and because they showed inflammation I am on a 5 day course of Prednisone. We'll see if that helps my pain level. The...

I loved going away to Cape Cod for a week. But instead of a relaxing vacation it turned into more of a job. In the morning we’d spend hours foraging for mushrooms and then after we got back to the hotel we’d spend hours dealing...

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena I went away to college as soon as I graduated high school at 18. Lived on my own, paid my own way through school, worked while I studied, and partied my a$$ off the whole time. Graduated with highest honors. Obtained two bachelors degrees and one...

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena So true. It’s amazing that people will blindly believe what they read on the internet without checking other sources to verify.

Traceyjayne I have been dehydrating mushrooms recently. Not foraged sadly, but on special offer at the supermarket …I would dearly love to go foraging ….with someone who knows what they are doing, as I don’t trust myself alone…l

Max Crisp Most people drink cows milk here. For those who are lactose intolerant then it’s usually soya or oat milk as an alternative. I can’t say I’ve ever seen goats milk on sale. But yeah, it’s a bit strange to put those warnings on, but I have seen “contains nuts”...

I went to Spectrum today to cancel the Voice (landline) service at my mom’s house. She’s paying $30 a month for it and she never uses her phone. Made no sense to keep it. I was expecting the bills from now on to be $30 less as...

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena Did you finance it? New phones these days can cost well over $1000. Most people don't have that kind of money just laying around, so it often makes sense to finance it, especially since most of the carriers don't charge interest on the financing.

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena I'm not going to lie and say that I've never drank and drove, because I used to do that quite a bit, but I would limit how much I drank on those days/nights I would drive home. I knew my limits, and stuck to them. Of course, looking back now, it...

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena I don't know for sure if they do add fillers, but they certainly do it to so many other foods we eat. I was only suggesting that it could be a possible explanation.

Jeff Moffitt @lovebuglena A good idea, except when it comes to driving after drinking! That's a no-no. I read somewhere recently that weed has overtaken alcohol in the US as a primary means of escape from the real world.
