Are diet pills safe, and do they work?

Has anyone ever tried diet pills, if which have you used and gave u the result. Do they work?

They might work for a while ... but long term they are no good for a couple of reasons. One is that they can be addictive and if/when you stop taking them you will gain back all the weight you lost. They are a quick fix and do not teach you good eating habits ... some people think that they will lose the weight and will be okay but that isn't the case at all unfortunately. also if you take them ... you still have to watch what you eat or the reason for taking them is lost and wasted. Some people have serious side effects from taking them ... better to go on a good diet and try to lose weight that way than to take those pills. They can be dangerous ... even for people who think they are otherwise healthy except for their weight. If you are overweight then there is already a strain being placed on the heart ... these diet pills can make the situation worse. Don't take them is what I say but if you must, then do so under medical supervision, that is your Doctor or a dietician.
