No I don't know anyone from Virginia Tech. But I understand one of the professors that was killed is a Canadian from here in Quebec. Does anybody know why he did what he did?

Wow, that is so good to hear and I am glad that they are safe. Thankfully, I don't know anyone that goes there. I wouldn't recommend anyone attending that university at all.

I have a cousin that is a freshman at Virginia Tech, that I only met last summer at a family reunion. (My mom came from a big family, and I still haven't met all the relatives on that side.) She actually lives at the freshman dorms where the shootings first began. Our whole family was so scared when we heard about the shooting. Luckily, she lived on the 3rd floor instead of the 4th floor. She sent a mass email out to the family website to let everybody know that she's ok. Very, very scary stuff, though. Thank God that she's safe. And, Thank God that the ones you know are safe, too!
