The same tune

Why the "Alphabet song", "Twinlke little star" and "Baa Baa Blacksheep" have the same tune? I also wonder why/

The three songs have different tunes. I bought many CD's of nursery songs for my nephews and nieces and none of the songs have same tune, others may have a little bit similarities but not exactly as the others. I keep on playing it when i nanny them thus i can distinguish the tune of each song.
