Will slavery ever end from the face of the earth!

In parts of West Africa and the Sudan, there is the phenomenon of slavery still thriving in a manner that is not any different from the slavery we have known in history. These are usually people forced to work as domestic servants against their will and for no pay. The victims are abducted and literally sold off to families in distant lands where the victims can not easily escape! They work under very diffcult condtions, they are abused sexually and can only be allowed to return to their homes if the families of the victims pay ransom! Why do the Intelligence organizations of these countries sit by and allow these problems to go on? Are they accomplices?
