World Cup

Australia have played the best cricket without doubt. They are hungry for success. They have a never say die attitude. But i just have a feeling that they will not win the world cup. It will be down to luck and Australia will need to have an off day if they are to lose their crown. South Africa showed everyone yesterday that they are not to be written off after their destruction of England. Sri Lanka are definitely unpredictable. You just don't know what team will turn up on the day. But i think that the team who are almost as good as Australia are New Zealand. I just have a feeling Australia can not stand their fast bowlers especially Shane Bond. This bowler can do serious damage but he hasn't collected many wickets but is very economical. My vote goes for New Zealand.

I think that the world cup is going to be won by the Aussies. This time also they are the best team in the lot. But what i feel is that the ration among Sri Lanka and South Africa is tilted towards Africa. Because they are a more balanced team that Sri Lanka. The lankan clan may also be good. But, i feel that Sri Lanka wouldn't be able to stand up against South Africa.

I feel that it could be 50-50 between australia and srilanka but sri lanka has a great chance if they maintain their same form till the final. They actually peaked at the right time and maintained the momentum throughout the tournament, but they are not my personal favorite. I would favor either south africa or new zealand.

I think the percentages are fair enough. But I also wish to point out that in the last mathch played against Australia, 3 bowlers, specially Murali and Malinga were not playing. But they will be there for both the semi finals and finals. This will reduce the chances for the Aussies.

ya the semi final team are finalised ,i think this time it will be either australia or srilanka.i will give rating as australia 48 %,srilanka 40 %south africa 6%,and newzealand 6 %.for me southafrica and newzealand are looking similar and quite equal.and they are not in the position of giving any threat to australia ,it is srilanka which can only do somethiing new on fast and turning pitch of westindies and also they have players who have the potential,temparament,attitude and caliber to bring changes and i hope they will do that this time.

in cricket the important thing is ur luck or ur performance which you shaow in the field. So which tezm will play better that will win the world cup. But my favourite team for this is Sri lanka and it can also win.
