My 14 Year Old Boy has Bipolar Disorder

This is my first discussion and I am sharing a very dificult stage in my life. My son was diagnosed with Bipolar Disroder also this condition has other conditions accompanying which are ADHD and Oppositional Disorder. He was given Concerta which gave him lots of headaches then he was given Limictal this one broke in a rash all over and finally he was offered adderall (which is not working at all) I see that my son's changes in personality is taking a great toll not only on me but also on his little sister (7 years old) I wonder how other parents with a child with the same condition cope and manage and what medications if any has worked for them. I have been to different sites and we are even going to therapy but how to help a child when I am sometimes unable to speak to him when his mood swings by its very dificult and painful to see my son this way. Any experiences and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
