We sometimes pick a "best response" after only getting a few responses to our discussions posted for weeks. But as time passed by, it is not impossible to get more quality responses that is better than the one you chose earlier as the "best response". Is it possible to pick a new "best response" post to your discussion?

At present it is not possible for us to select a second best response for our discussions . And also we cannot discard the first chosen best to select a fresh . It is not available because some might misuse it ... Instead , we can give + ratings to other good replies that we receive for our discussions .

A + rating seems to be the only way at the moment to reward somebody for a good response.

Yes! You are absolutely correct ! Many times after selecting a best response we amy likely to get a response which can be better than the posting which we have selected as the Best one! Then we may feel guityb that we have selected a wrong answer or response for awarding a Best response! That's the reason why Myot people are also suggesting us to wait for few days to have good number of responses and then only let us mark one of the responses as the best one! This they are saying, because if we select one of the re4sponbses he Besty one , once then we really can't change it, even if we want to do so1 So better wait for some time and then select the best posting! Today I was surprised to see that one of the response made by me some five months back has been awarded as a the best response! Though it was a pleasant surprise, Don't you think it was bit too late to have select a best response after five months timE?! Well thats the the way of life! Possibly the concerned member must have been waiting for a better response than mine for last five months and after finding no respo\nse finally he must have awarded me with the best Re4sponse! Thansk for initiating such interesting topic! All the best!

I've had seen this on several discussions in which someone chooses a best response, & then a better response gets posted. Then the discussion starter comments, "I wish I could change the best response." I've even seen it where someone complained that they did NOT select a best response, but one was already chosen as the Best Response. One thing I can suggest is try writing to MyLot support asking if they can un-select the best response. I'm not sure what they can do, & if they will take care of that.
