1875 murder of Micheal Rigney

In 1875 on march 17 Micheal Rigney of Ferbane Offaly Ireland was shot and killed while attending a wake. Later Peter Claffy of Ferbane was accused of the murder but wasn't found guilty. Does anyone have any info bout this event or can anyone tell me where I might find the newspaper reports.
