what would be the good dish for elder people?

I meet elder people every wedneyday for chain prayer.I am planning to take some dish to my church elder people as a lunch.I wanted to know good ideas.post any healthy recipe who are older age of 85.How it is sounds like?advice..

I think elderly people would appreciate anything homemade. Most grew up with the simple things and appreciate the fact that anyone from the younger generations even takes the time for them. I've noticed some people have suggested soup, that might get a little messy trying to take it somewhere, you could find a nice casserole recipe, or maybe make a healthy version of homemade maccaroni and cheese. Check out cooks.com and enter depression food, they have some gteat recipes that might work nicely, you change them a bit to make them more healthy to todays standards. I think soup and salad is always a good and healthy idea for elderly people. I think they appreciate those kinds of food, too. Years ago the older people made soup because it was cheap to make and it went far.
