do you imagine/predict the next scene?

ok. I am watching my favorite TV program. Comfortably sitting on our sala set and then the station decided to pause a break and have some Commercials. The commercials in line are so long, I think the running airs of these commercials are longer than the airing time of the TV show. This is starting to tire me. Instead of being irritated by the long commercials and waiting for my favorite show to pop out on the screen, I'll just imagine on what will be the next scene. I imagine on what will the protagonist do and what's the next move of the antagonist. I imagine to get busy. I want to predict the next scenario. I imagine that the things I imagine will be the real next scene in the TV show and then voila! presto! A bonus happy feeling for me for predicting it right! ha ha ha!How about you? do you imagine on what will be the next thing on the series you are watching? do you do this to not get bored? Me, I often do this because it adds to the excitement of my TV watching experience he he!

Sometimes during commercials I will think on how i would like the rest of the show to turn out but sometimes I will also think on how I would like to have seen things differently on the parts I have just seen

Thank you for this new idea. When TV shows are paused for the commercials, I just like others used to change the TV channel and watch something other. Now from the next dtime, I will also think about the next scene of that progarm, and if it becomes true, it will be a fantastic feeling. Even, if it does not become true, I will not be bored at the time of commercial breaks, rather pass the time imagining about the next scene.

I will also tell my friends to try this idea while watching TV programs. In case I am able to predict the future scenes, I will announce my name as a fortune teller of the TV serials (just kidding!! Ha Ha.

well I never thought of doing that, but you might be on to something. It sounds like a fun event. Then when the scene unfolds, how close are you to what really happened.

he he.. we have a different perspective on imagining the next scene.. but that's okay. I'm not really bored at the show, I'm bored with the long commercial break.

Well sometimes I simply just guess when I think about it a little too much. Usually I am barely paying attention to play the guessing game. But its fun when I can to do this for sure! Like some tention is coming up its like "oh this is a gonna happen" Best used in: comedy & drama. My tops to guess drama: Heroes & Lost AND Humor: Ugly Betty

Yes, I do this too. I use my imagination to predict what the next scene might be like when I'm watching TV. I don't always do it during commercials, but sometimes even as the show is playing. My kids hate it when I guess right! I guess I also try to come up with plots because I'm a writer and I think of what I would have written the scene or even the ending to be like. Interesting topic!

I haven't tried this consciously, but sometimes I do find myself imagining things that could happen next, especially if there's some kind of life-threatening situation going on. Actually, the older I get, the more I appreciate commercial breaks. Either I need to get food or go to the bathroom, or my son needs something like a diaper change or a bottle or attention... I find my commercial breaks are pretty busy these days actuall.y

It is true that as I watch movies, I have the tendency to try predicting as to how the story will end. While watching the movie at it goes on, I also have the tendency to say what I want to happen next. Then, if for me, the characters did commit a wrong move, it is exasperating. When this happens it means that the movie has succeeded in its purpose, which is to entertain the viewing public.

I also have the same feeling for the movies.. when they show the trailers of the movie, I have something in mind on what the plot is going to be like that of moments of love.. the teaser is so tempting and I have an idea about the story and then after watching the film, I got the wrong idea but I feel glad that they gave me a really big twist in the end.

I usually predict the upcoming scenes (especially in investigative/detective series) during the course of the show itself. When the commercials are on, I would get off my seat and do something else, like do the dishes. That way, I get to do more things than just sit there and wait for the show to get on. Hehe. Yes, I agree that it's fun to guess what's going to happen next, or who the murderer was, etc. This is because I love to watch CSI, Law and Order Criminal Intent and SVU, and last but not the least, House MD. Happy myLotting!

Yes, I do, and sometimes I'm always thinking "what's next" even wile it's still on. I hate it when they end it on crucial moments though and you need to wait for the next episode another day, that really makes me upset. But I also tend to imagine what's next, then I'll start changing to see what's on, sometimes however I get distracted with another show and by the time I realize I was watching something else it was finished and have to try to imagine what might have happened, or try to fill in the blanks if I watch the next episode if it's a series....

Oh yes, definitely. I *always* do that. And more often than not, the plot is so predictable. In fact, I will usually try to predict till the *end* of the entire series of shows. :P
