How many penfriends you ever have?

When I was in highschool, it was very popular to make a penfriend, we got a nonfamiliar person's name with its address from magazines then wrote to him/her. I was excited to write to a totally unknown friend who was at anther place, his/her caligraphy and his/her experience and his/her photos always attracted me a lot. But later we lost communication, only with old time letters lying there. So how many penfriends do you ever have? Do you still keep in touch?

Yeah I agree with you, in the Information Age, it's much easier to make friends online, that's great!

When I was about 8 years old I had so many penfriends.
But I haven't heard form them for many many years.
I once had a penfriend from Danmark (some school project)
and then she came with her school to Iceland and I met her.
That was a lot of fun :D

wow that's really fun, maybe that's what people call "fate", I never met with any penfriends without their photos.

when i was younger i had alot of penpals from all over the world and i loved it, but whit internet coming bigger we kind of went over to email and it kind of ended... I do have some still that i keep in touch with through email.
I reall miss snailmails though, they are so much more personal, but it seems as people do not have time for things like that anymore =(

None, however this is something I always wanted to do. I love to write & I have so much to share. Hmmmmmmm, maybe now is good a time to start. Thanks for idea:-)

well i never had any penfrinds i past but know i di this thing to keep some of pefriends because its really help u to about the their culture. well i have made many frinds from egypt because i wanna knew its history.

Heeheh....danger questions because no count how many penfriends was in my highschool time because I am talkative and talk with anyone and make friend. Communication start with letter but now I make only phone friend heheh...communication starts only on phone.
