If you had to live far away from cicilization for 1 YEAR and could only bring ONE ITEM, what would it be? I was reading some of my brother's articles for his school paper and i saw these interesting topic. His answer would be his guitar. I don't know what to bring if ever. How about you? What would you bring?

can i bring you? lol.. that's obviously a joke since you are not a thing.. can you change the question into someone and not a thing? then i will bring you.. hehehe.. anyway, for me, i will bring a big bag of my clothes, i assume that the far away place out of civilization would be a forest, so i will bring my clothes and live there, hunt for my food, build a treehouse near a river, urbanized a small place for my self so i will survive, after one year, when i return i will knock at your door and will ask you to marry me and live in the little place in the forest i've created. lol...

Hehe. Well i think it's more interesting if i would ask what item than who's the person you will bring with that uncivilized far away place because everyone would have the same answer. Of course it's obvious that most of us will answer the person we love, maybe our spouse, father, mother, ofriend or brother. Bring me? haha! Ok i'll think of it. LOL. Wow, it's like you have a plan of living in that forest forever. hehehe.

Another cheater. hehe. Well i think its not smart to bring a pc in a far away uncivilized place because there is no electricity and you can't survive for a year if you only have a pc. But i can say you're a myLot addict. hehe

hmmm.. if i'm going to be far away from civilization, then i definitely won't bring any electronic gadget. it would be useless coz i can only use it a few days and will be worthless for the rest of the year since theres no way to recharge it. ..if i could choose, then i'd bring a jungle bolo, or maybe a rambo knife (which is smaller than a jungle bolo). that would surely help me survive for the rest of the year. c",)

yep.. i've tried doing that with some of my friends before, but didn't bring jungle bolo coz i don't have one, hehe.. funny thing is, the idiots brought a lot of canned goods.. and nobody brought a stupid can opener.. good thing the spoons we've brought were strong enough that i used it to open those darn cans.. hahaha.. we went home before sunset.. that was in sierra madre, i think.. c',)

That's good. You're absolutely correct! You got a positive rate for your response. Bringing electrical gadgets is not a smart move since uncivilized places don't have electricity. A bolo or a knife could be a big help in hunting, cutting trees and branches. Even getting and preparing food. hehe.

Hi,pretty_angle. If I have the opportunity to stay far away from city for one year,I would like to take nothing with me. Wow,It sound like a dreamlike thing.Because I have been lived in city for twenty-two-years since I was born.I need a peaceful place to relax myself.Staying at countryside,I have the chance to touch them closely. It dose a dulcet thing. ^o^ I love natural, flowers and all kinds of animals. How lovely they are!

If you will not bring anything, how will you survive that one year? Well yeah maybe at first you will enjoy the environment but how about the following months? You will feel hunger and wasted.

My professional video camera of course, I can't live without it, and I would record whatever it happens to me in that weird situation, I would make a great film and let others see what I discovered there and my feelings and emotions, I have always a nedd to express that that way...

Well that's a smart answer. hehe. It's like your just going to a vacation. Why not? But i hope there is enough battery for your camera for the whole year since there is no electricity in that uncivilized place.

You're right, it wasn't too smart... I suppose I'll have to bring also some kind of electric generator lol.

Hehe. If you're going to bring an electric generator together with your video camera, that would be two items. I just said one item. hehehe. :p

I think I'd like to bring my laptop with a satellite internet connection. Wait, is that cheating? lol Fine then...hmmm...well, could I take a person? I realize a person isn't an "item", but it would be more fun to have someone else there than just about any thing that I can think of at the moment.

Hmmm, yah i think that's cheating. haha! How will you be alone if you still have communication to the civilized world. But why not? A person? Ok, let me ask you that question, if you were to bring only ONE person, who would it be and WHY?

well i guess, this is some sort of a survivor series challenge huh. if you would ask me, i don't think i could last or live for a WHOLE year in a remote island/place with just one item. speaking from a realistic point of view, but just to answer the question. i guess, i take my cell phone with me. not only can i stay in contact with the outside world but take some pictures and videos as well with it. hopefully, the battery charge will last for that long. he he he. after that one year period, i would have a lot of images to show all my friends and relatives once back home to the real world.

I will have to bring a lighter - i'm afraid i'm not too patient in making fires using sticks and hay. Fire is the most essential thing to bring next to water - it will help me cook my food and boil my water. I could also have said pen and paper, but i guess i can devise a way to write down everything using a sharp stick and an old branch.
