Do We Need To Save Money For Our Kids ?

In India there is a popular saying which means that if you have an intelligent , smart and sensible son, then what is the point in saving money for him? He will make his own money! And If you have a bad and insensible son themn what is the point in saving money for him, as he is going to spoil the hard earned money in no time? Thus it gives an inference that it is not necessary to save any money for our kids! What do you feel about it ? Plesae answer ! Thanks !

I agree to make their future secure we need to save some money for them. Today education and other things relating to kids have become expensive! Thanks!

Yes i say its important to save money for our kids, we never know how things might turn out. We may die , we may get disabled, We may lose our job, can you predict the future ? you can't so i say its important to save some bucks for the future and for our kids. With the Saying you gave i completely disagree with that, thats just a saying and can be dealt as fun thats it. If you follow that in real life you need to be more lucky in order to live up to that.
