Regarding The Excuses for Going On Murderous, Shooting Rampages

I don't understand the excuses given regarding these shootings and killings at schools. It just seems like almost every single person who has gone on a shooting rampage at these educational facilities, have blamed their actions on the fact that they were teased and bullied in school. And it seems like all of these shooters were boys or men. I am a woman, and I was unmercifully teased and bullied in junior high school and high school. I think it was in the last year of high school when I was no longer teased. But never, in my wildest dreams, did I ever think about getting back at those who teased and bullied me and made my life a living hell, in such the way that these killers have. I simply just dropped out of high school, got my GED, and completed one year of college before getting married. I have never looked back to my high school days. I've always read that women were more prone to depression than men, but why is it the men who are wreaking havoc on innocent people's lives?

Maybe it is a man thing, women are made very different to men they have that extra maternal love and gemtleness within them we are the soft sensible ones... I heard a rather different question asked the other day and I guess it is a possibility...a lot of things get passed on through genes and the question was with the wars and the killing ,the stress the hatred that can develop could some of this get passed down through the genes... Now my little bit of life,. I thought about this, as the girls in my family suffered from very bad migraine headaches, at one stage one of my family was put into hospital to have it all checked out and it was thought that for some reason only the girls in our family suffered these and they were passed down from my father who suffered very had headaches due to being a gunner in the second world war... Now if this is possible just maybe certain parts of war things could be passed down too, and maybe if goes through the boys or maybe because the girls have thios extra maternal thing maybe they can handle it... something to think about...

Thank you for your response. That is a good theory and definitely something to ponder. In my family on my maternal side, the women are prone to nervous breakdowns. My grandmother suffered a few, my mom suffered a couple. I've been lucky so far. I did start experiencing mild depression after the birth of my older daughter. At the time, I thought it was post-partem, but the blah feelings never went away. After the birth of my younger daughter, I sought help from a doctor, and was put on medication to control the anxiety and down feelings. I hope to break the chain of the nervous breakdowns in my family.

Thank you very much! Everything I do, I try to do the best for my children. I pray that they will be well-adjusted and never have to worry about this, and if it does happen, I pray that they seek the help that's needed, like I did.
