i want responses as to whether or not cricket as a sport is in a slump and will it recover. the world cup this year has seen some enormous upsets with teams like ireland and bangladesh reaching the super eights. there is even more trouble with coachs now in harms way if their teams fail. bob woolmer was murdered and recently other coaches like greg chappel and duncan fletcher have retried as well possibly based on their teams poor performance. this along with many greats retiring or under speculation of retiring like Brian Lara, Glenn Mcgrath, and Anil Kumble. so answer me this. can crikcet recover from these massive losses? will the game die out forever? or will the game undergo a massive facelift in the form of new brilliant players and coache?
