Sorry... I wrote it that way because I figured that if anyone WAS a UU they would know what it meant! UU stands for unitarian Universalist, which is a religion that basically believes it is up to every individual to find their own beliefs and their own life path, and that all people deserve the same respect and dignity no matter what they believe. Maybe other UU's will show up on this discussion and explain it better than I can!

I'm a UU! I discovered UU a few years ago... when I got sick of the local Pagan community and how they never seemed to want to do anything. My husband and I have found UU a good place for us, because we have different religious beliefs. And we're excited that our son will learn about many different religions through UU. =) I love going around holidays especially, becuase you get the flavor of the holidays of all the religions that fall around the same time.
