Although my daughter is grown and has children of her own, sometimes she will call me and tell me something her children have done and it brings to mind things she did as a child that have really stuck in my mind. Two things really stick with me and although i find them humerous now-I CANT BELIEVE SHE DID THAT- My daughter was 4 and my son was almost 2 there play room was in the basement where the laundry room was also, they were down there playing one evening when suddenly we heard a very loud clunking noise running to see what was the matter we discovered she had put her little brother in the dryer and turned it on (her story is well he climbed in). Her next great tick was a play on my words it was her night to do the dishes she was probley about 14, so I said to her you have to do the dishes before you can go back out to play, assuming it was ok in the kitchen I went off to do other chores not to much later I heard her say she was done and was going to play,ok I said. A few min. later I went to the kitchen and much to my dismay there was a stove full of pots and pans I waited untill she came in from playing and asked her about why she lied and hadnt finished the dishes--- her reply was -- I did the dishes you didnt tell me to do the pots and pans you said the DISHES. I know we all have memories of things our children have done but is there something your child has done that just sticks out more than others?

I'm looking forward to the day when I would have similar experiences hehehe My daughters are only 8 and 1. It reminded me of talking with my eldest the other night about what she was like when she was a baby and how different she is compared to her sister and my brother who's 11 years younger than me.

Oh my! Those are some really good memories. My kids are still real young and I am having a hard time thinking of one thing that really sticks out. Oh yeah, one time my daughter had an accident in her pants (poop) and well I was busy cleaning so she just decided to take it out of her pants and start pretending she was cooking with it with her kitchen. It was so gross to clean up. She had it everywhere. My husband didn't like it so much, but he wasn't the one who had to clean it up. You know I call my mom about once a week to apologize to her for the way I was when I was young. She just laughs at me and says "Gracie being bad again". My mom and dad say my daughter is there revenge. She is a spitting image of me when I was young. Lucky me!!!
