What do you do when your partner or spouse spends all the money?

There have been people definied as "compulsive shoppers" who are terrible at controlling their spending. I have been in a position to foot the bill for uncontrolled spending of a identity theif, but what do you do when the theif is your partner? What do you do when you know they are spending without telling you about it? Do you confront them and offer them couseling/help or just pay the bill and fight about it later? How do you handle it?

My partner is quite sensible and doesnt go around wasting money. Infact he hands over all his earnings to me and keeps a pennyamount with him and asks for more as and when he needs.

What would your partner offer about your spending habits?
Many women enjoy jewelry, purses, shoes, make-up or any item we can add to our closet or kit-and-kaboodle... I'm impulsive yet controlled until I see a great pair of new pumps or stiletto heels.

If i notice that his spending all of his money. I will not do anything, i'll let him spend all his money, but i will see to it that he will suffer later. Or the consequences of spending all of his money will show him.

You're right. Eventually the spending will be evident. Hopefully, you have the money to cover the bills and pray the spending stops.
I'm interested in knowing how you will see to it that he will suffer later? Will you have a shopping spree of your own?

Well, this is oe for my ex husband...LOL!
But seriously I have learned a lot of coping skills for the triggers of my over spending. Sometimes people have true problems such as bipolar disorder. It can be fixed.
By the way, the ex and I are "dating" so it can be overcome!!

Grin!!I am the one this way...i pure and simple can't keep money with me...everytime when i see something sweet i have to buy...lol...Fortunately,i have enough for those shoping and my boyfriend is just laugheting because of this hobby...
So you have to put this question to my lover...lol!!(i know i am imposible but...what i can do?...i can't help my self...ha ha ha...yeah"those women")...
