I'm Chinese, my first foreign language is English, and I prefer American English 'cause is lively and more flexible. My second foreign language is Japanese, for me it's not very hard to learn 'cause there are many Chinese characters and many "ka" "wa" "da" sounds in this language, very interesting. If possible, I want to learn a third language, but I'm not sure which is better to choose. so what are your first&second or third foreign languages? Is it hard or easy to learn? how many of you guys want to learn Chinese? maybe I could help you on it. :)

Can you help me to learn chinese. According to me learning foreign language is not very difficult but hard work is necessary to learn anything successfully.

I do not speak any other language fluently other than English though I have taken Spanish and French in high school and college. I remember some spanish words and some French words but am not able to hold a conversation in either of those languages. It would be nice to learn those languages fluently and would love Italian as well. I am not sure if I would be able to remember so many different languages as I might get them all confused. :-)

I know that many Americans speak Spanish now, and when I was in college, I tried to learn Spanish, but I can only speak "hola" now. Once I learned some Korean from my roomate, But I have forgot it totally. lol anyway, I hope I could learn French later 'cause it is said that it's the most exquisite language in the world!

im a native filipino, my first language was tagalog, yet i also knew to other dialects in the philippines, bisaya and ilocano, of course i know english, and because philippines was once colonized by spain we filipinos had inherited some spanish words and phrases, thus i can also speak spanish, a little.. now im learning italian through my house mate, she had an italian boyfriend, who sent her a cd on how to learn italian, she plays it everyday, i always hear it, and im learning from it.. if given a chance i would also like to study latin and egyptian hieroglyphics.
