How many tags/ keywords do you usually provide in your post? Ever tried 10? -lol

i don't know about the experience of others but i usually provide at least 3 tags or keywords for every post that i make. in my 430+ posts, i only every skipped 2 times (for lack of keywords to add). :)
there was one time though that i found so many keywords in the response that i made in one of the discussions another user has started. i made a lot of tags... 11, i think. and a message was prompted that i exceeded the number of maximum tags. :)
i felt so silly then. -lol- doing more than 10 tags.
honestly, i've been religiously doing tags because i took the advise someone gave me on my 2nd day in mylot. and i find that since day 2, my average earnings per post has increased and became better than 1.73 cents per post on my first day.
there may not be a correlation, of which i cannot make a claim to, but i experienced that i earn between 4-6 cents per posts after my first week in mylot. sometimes more on rare days.
thought i would share, coz it won't hurt us to try and test it if it would work for us. goodluck and enjoy! :)

I dont think I can find 10 similar word for my duscusion which suitable with my discusion ^^

Hi! Nice discussion to enhance my learning too. Well, I do tag my discussions having the most keywords that I think suitable to submit. I would like to tell that I have not good use of tags before but having the above one I think one must always go for that ;) I am though not concious about the money being earned here but I will check the same.
When I respond the discussion, I do try to have a look of tags already in use. If I feel that there are much rich words than mine, I skip the tags. Thanks for sharing your experience too.

yes, it solely depends how many applicable keywords we can find and actually use. :)

After I am done making a post, I make about 5-10 tags every time. Now I'm not sure how much you earn by doing this, but it helps. Who did you here from that said the more tags you post, the better your earnings? If this is so, then I guess I should shoot for 20 tags if that is going to help. The most I made yesterday was over a dollar, but from my first day I only made 13 cents. I have experienced making 2 dollars yet, but I would be happy if I did reach that goal. Tags are great and I make sure that I will never skip adding them. When I tag, I type fast to save time and make more posts. Good luck and enjoy Mylot!

oh, the limit is 10 tags only, you can't do 20. :)
it was an advise by other mylot users when i was starting out and i read it in the guidelines as well. no confirmation about better earnings when you do, but it helps. :)

3 or 4 tags is my average number.Actually I have not figured out clearly how important the tag is ,so I was just finishing the blank without active emotion.

i think it helps mylot to sort discussions. if you notice at the bottom page of a particular discussion, there will be similar discussions that will appear. i think, tags contributes in sorting similar topics. :)

I usually provide 2 or 3 tags for every post that I make,sometimes just 1 tags.I hate to add more.I think it's enough.

Wow! I didn't know that there was a limit on the number of tags. I never tried to tag that many keywords. I always tag all my discussions. I usually give a couple of tags. I think the most tags I have ever given is 5 or 6 may be. About the importance of tags, I have also seen many people who earn $3-4 a day saying that tagging does help but I don't really know how much truth there is to it.

When I post a discussion I try to remember putting on tags. Happily nobody has ever put vile tags on any of my discussions like has happened to other people on mylots. I don't think people should be able to add tags without posting response.

yeah, they shouldn't if they are not participating in the discussion, otherwise, they won't earn from just tagging alone... will they?

According to the mylot discussions guidlines, we should tag when we get the chance to do so, that mean we should do it no matter in discussion or replying, I think it may not improve your earning directly but your topics will be serched by some other members if you are tagged properly, that mane your topics may have more responses.

I do as many as I can think of that are relevant to my discussion. I only once got the message you said. I was surprised, because I normally have trouble thinking of two or three..lol. I don't post all that often, so 430 posts, wow, that would be difficult to tag all of them. Where do you get so many ideas from?

I try to key in as many as possible. But, sometimes it's quite difficult. I think a few times I key in words that didn't relate to the topic. I think the most I key in was 7.
