im 23 years old. im using IUD since i was 20. havent done any papsmear or anything about it. my fiance dont want me to get pregnant again. 1 child is enough. how will a woman know if she's at risk even if she's not feeling any symptoms of any disadvantage using the IUD. thanks

You'll never know unless you ask the doctor. you'll be lucky if there is a doctor that can respond to your discussion. but i suggest you should go to the doctor and ask him/her yourself. you can never be too sure.

what i know is that in using IUD, you need to have a yearly check-up on that because IUD need to change it yearly i guess..but if you wanted to be sure if your body is still ok using that kind of contraceptive, i think you need to see a gynecologist so that you will know what's the do's and dont's of using IUD and other contraceptives..it's a foreign thing that's been inserted inside your private part so you need to have regular check-up to be sure..
