any one can tell the real meaning of mumbai....rather than Bombay ....and the history behind that...naming and change of names

the real name is mumabi not bombay.The 'mumbadevi' is god of mumbai town.
and regarding about changing of name,why madras changed to chennai,calcutta to kolkata.
same way mumbai is original name not bombay,so name is not changed but bcoz of not mumbaikars it goes like bambai and Bomay
