For instance you have a medical condition which requires you to be "anorexic-thin" or "obesely-fat", which would you choose? Why?

I have always been thin (yes it takes a lot of work) and I would definitely choose to stay thin, although I do have muscle tone so I'm really not "anorexic-thin". Regardless of the medical condition in question, being obese brings so many health risks that thin people don't have to deal with as much. I've got plenty of medical conditions myself, but I know that even if I could give them up magically in exchange for being fat that I would only be exchanging one set of health problems for another.

I agree alanna_liadon. Being thin entails a lot of work. But some are genetically fat which makes them hard to trim down.

Hmm thats a tough one but I would have to say "anorexic-thin." I think it's easier to put on weight as opposed to losing the weight.

Without hesitation I would choose to be reed thin or underweight rather than fat or overweight. This is because in my opinion it is more acceptable socially to be too thin than to be too fat. Also, I think being very overweight must be more uncomfortable than being very thin. I also think on the balance of probabilities being fat carries with it more health problems than the other way wrong but maybe that is because we have more overweight people than underweight in the western world.

I have never ever been really thin, so I would choose that. I have been a bit fat and that is no fun. It must be even worse to be obese. Maybe i am wrong, maybe it is worse to be real thin - I gguess I would find out. It might be good to try something that I have never experienced before. If nothing else changed I am sure I would soon put on some weight, and maybe I would be able to stop before reaching obesity.

I would choose being thin. althaugh any of those conditions are not healthy for you, and can kill you. I think thin people have an easier life then very fat people. You can see that in real life the very fat person is treated usually badly, and the very thin person is usually treated by others with the caring sentence of: You have to eat more, you are too thin, you already look good you do not have to keep losing weight and so on.

I would be what you call "anorexic-thin". Even if someone who is anorexic and bony and completely unhealthy DOES NOT look good, I'd still go for that one. I could fit into things better, and I know this is cruel, but people wouldn't make fun of me as much. That's how twisted this country is, but it's true.

Tough. I would not want to be either. Both pose problems. But, I would prefer to be on the thin side but not anorexic-like.

I would choose thin. As I am already fat and have been both thin and fat in my life, never anorexic-thin though. I know from experience that thin is easier to live with and more scially acceptable. Healthier too as being thin is easier to put the weight back on. Believe me, this I know. LOL

I guess I'd have to go with "anorexic-thin". Chances are it would be easier to find clothing that you could fit into.
