Pets are Cannibals rendered pets as pet food ingredient

Okay, how freaky is it that the mystery meat in some pet food is fat from rendered dead pets and animals. St. Louis did a write up on it, and it has me freaked out. So, we went to get different food from our dog so she's not a cannibal. Isn't that why mad cow started?
