do you think everything has gone to comercialised......? lets face it neally all adverts on tv is to try and encourage us to buy...or renew ... even though there is nothing wrong with the items we got.... why cant people be contented with what they got....as lets be truthfull here.... how many clothes have you got in your wardrobe.... still with the tags on.. and you have never worn them.....so buy did you buy them then...... obviously you didnt need them.. also how many times have you renewed something... just becasue it was old... and dated....? not because it was broken beyond repair... just imagine how cmuch money we would save if we only bought things because we REALLY needed them.... not because we WANT them.... i know i if i could not be tempted... i wouldnt have a huge credit card bill.....lol... but i getting there slowly...... no more impulse buys for me.....

Commercials sell products .Product sales create jobs .Jobs give you the funds to make purchases for the things that you want and need .That's what makes the world go round .Not all countries aspire to this thought however .But in most cases they are also the poorest countries .Poverty, poor health conditions etc.. Product sales also creates profits for companies to reinvest in RESEARCH and DEVELOPEMENT .Would we have the technological advances we enjoy with out R & D ? I don't think so . As far as impulse buying goes that's up to you to control .

fair comment.....sales/money makes the world.. go round.. but there is a point where it gets over comercialised..... where you are re-newing things just because.. its not in fashion any more.. or its gone passed looking its best....but it still does what it suposed to do.... we have got to such a throwaway society.... and objects have no value anymore... becuase we can just go and buy.... we are in a world where they are incouraging buying.. and getting into debt to buy..... ok.. i have realised i was part of that.. but now i have woken up...and realised.... i dont need to buy the late4s gadget.. or car etc.... to get noticed.. or have friends....i am me... also what are your view... that its our greed for new things and for ever cheaper prices.. that is making the poorer countries more poorer...as we are also off loading our second hand cast off to overseas countries... ( an easy way to dispose of things ) which is them missing up what ecomony they have.... hope that makes sense....

I agree that the world is becomming very comercialised, anything is an excuse to sell sell sell! I can't afford to buy everything I see and want, whether I need it or not, so I don't have any clothes in my wardrobe still with tags on that I have never worn. There are things I wish I could buy, but I know where my priorities are, I do get myself, my husband and my daughter something special every once in a while. It's good to set limits and keep those limits, to learn when to say no even though inside you're screaming "I want!", it's good to not have too much, so you appreciate every little thing you have and everything you receive.
