As humans, we make some big mistakes. Right? For instance, once i was TRYING to cook myself something, i almost burned the house down! Luckyily my parents was watching me. Have you ever encounter a problem while cooking? Why and how?

My mistakes have usually been with baking...cakes, cookies and breads. They either don't rise properly or break apart or get a little overcooked.

Oh, yes, I myself have had a few mishaps. Sometimes I forget to use a potholder and burn myself. There was also that time that I had a steak in the broiler at home, and that started a fire. I think that I needed to use baking soda to put that one out. Boy, did I panick when that happened! But luckily, everything turned out okay. I wasn't able to eat that steak though. Just be careful and good luck.

My biggest mistake while cooking was letting water boil over into the burner on my electic stove. I think it was because it was old, but it blew up the burner and my pan. The whole thing was a mess, and it really scared me. I also put cinnamon in my chili once instead of chili powder. I just grabbed the spice bottle and did not look at the name on the bottle. I didn't realize it until I lifted the lid off the pot to stir it, and found the distinctive smell of cinnamon instead of chili!
