Studying methods .... how do we study!!

Hello all
am medicine student and me and my colleeges have a unique way of studying, i don't know if you others do such a thing ..
we do record the lecture on a MP3 recorder, and when the lecturer finish we give the recording for one of the student who writes evrey single word and clearify the whole lecture supporting it with other referrences from books and internet, then we distripute the lecture and copy it soft and hard copies for other students who buy it from the bookshop ..
this way save a lot of our times and give us the chance to follow evreything that the lecturer says ...
how do you study, any sugestions??

it is one of the most effective ways or strategies in studying.but then, if we're going about to think it over, it makes you lazy and very dependent.you should learn to stand by yourself(especially in studying).though sometimes,we need friends or activity partners but still you shouldn't rely yourself to them.

Yeah it is somehow makes student lazy but it increases their performance and makes good chance to learn, If you make it easy they will learn and enjoy their studying, otherwise, it will be just a Student and a book without any reactivity or creativity.

I personally had this special studying technique of recording my notes in my own voice in my pc and listen to it later.Your own voice is much easier to remember and it is easy to recall it.It had helped me a lot and is much faster than writing down everything repeatedly and studying.Its real effective too.

I think we are different people and differen major so the suitable methods must be different.For me I enjoy self study ,my major is economics but most of my time I study English cause it's very importan for me to find a job.I seldom attend to the teachers,I finde them boring and useless,but for you a science student maybe very different from me,just think about it I'm sure you will figure out your own way.

wow,how hard you study.
i am student too,but i has never thought out a idea for studying like what you and your classmates have done.
i think somebody who want to follow their fastspeaking teachers will try your method.
